Mesto, Oraot 28th, AOU 8633, Atris, Loraa - In October 2009, a species known as Haymeen-B was found living on Atris in the Loraa star system. A monolith was placed on the planet in hope of their addition to the Haymeen Empire. However, once they reached the sentience required for space travel, the similarities between the Haymeen and Haymeen-B quickly ended. What was once thought to be a shaman civilization turned out to be a militaristic one. Instead of colonizing empty planets and star systems, they instead decided to attack nearby civilizations, all of which were in the Haymeen alliance. It soon became clear that they could no longer be trusted.

On March 17th, 2010, the Haymeen Empire officially declared war on Haymeen-B. On March 21st, the entire Haymeen alliance declared war. By March 23rd, Atris had been flooded with hover pods specifically programmed to remove the native plants and animals from the planet and bring them to Taldicter, a planet that had recently been converted to a wildlife preserve. The hover pods were equipped with stealth fields and silent motors.

The plan was to remove as much of the Haymeen-B ecosystem as possible so that any attacks would do as little damage as possible to wildlife. Once 95% of the ecosystem had been removed from Atris, the strategy changed to constant attacks. The Haymeen built five anti-matter bombs with a total cost of $340 billion, each capable of extreme destruction. Each bomb was loaded onto a separate ship, and then carried to Atris. The bombs were planted, the ships that had carried them left, and the planet was reduced to craters.

There are rumors of Haymeen-B ships escaping, but these rumors are widely thought to be fictional horror stories.

This news story is part of a series on Haymeen-B.
