The Haymeen is a purple creature with four arms, four legs, and two wings. They are native to the planet Alfstad and have existed for 5,068,882,511 years. Alfstad is found in the system of Jastian, in the Milky Way galaxy. It is estimated that Jastian is more than 46,500 light years away from the Sun.

Anatomy

A Haymeen has four arms, four legs, and two wings. They are colored purple and have a horn and 13 spikes for protection. Haymeen have duck-like beaks and stalk eyes. Their hands and feet look very similar to those of humans, although the feet would only fit in a clown's shoes.

Although Haymeen may seem very big in pictures, there is less than four feet vertically from the bottoms of their feet to the top of their head. However, they are very powerful for their size, being able to overpower creatures many times their size.

However powerful they may be, Haymeen make more friends than enemies. Their spikes are more for show than for fighting. Their beaks have no teeth, making a biting as a form of attack impossible because its powerful jaw would do more damage to its beak than to whatever it bit.

Having four hands is very useful for lots of different activities, from fishing to collecting fruit, to flying a Tritam.

History

Please note: All of the dates in the following section are in Earth time, not Alfstad time.

5,068,880,500 to 2,488,880,500 BCE: Age of water

A single celled organism emerged from an asteroid. It had more resemblance to an orange tadpole with stalk eyes than to the current day Haymeen. It swam around underwater, eating small plants and narrowly escaping predators. Eventually, it began to split. First there were two Haymeen cells, then four, eight, sixteen... They kept splitting until there were millions.

While they were growing in number, they were also changing. They became purple instead of orange. They grew spikes and poison glands to defend themselves. They became more aerodynamic so they could swim faster.

Eventually, they started to grow legs. Then, a few hundred of the Haymeen cells began their migration to land. What happened to the rest is unknown.

2,488,880,500 to 1,466,880,500 BCE: Age of land

Once the Haymeen had come to land, they instinctively built themselves a nest. When they became hungry, they ate fruit from the nearby trees.

Eventually, they grew arms and the small spikes that surround their tails today.

One Haymeen decided that there must be more to the place they were in than just their nest and a pool of water, so he went searching for anything he could find. He found other groups of stranger creatures and impressed them by singing and dancing. Soon, his adventures became too dangerous for one Haymeen to go on alone, so he stopped. However, he told his children all about his adventures, and they became excited and wanted to go on adventures as well.

When his two children had grown up, they went on adventures, just like their father. The same thing happened with the three children that came next, then four, and finally five.

By this time, all the Haymeen were very excited about adventuring. But then, disaster struck. Rocks began to fall from the sky. Twelve of the 57 Haymeen died, and six more were seriously injured.

Eventually, the Haymeen grew two more legs, and then, wings.

1,466,880,500 to 13,130,500 BCE: Age of flight

On the 2nd of February, 1,466,880,500 BCE, Haymeen had short stumps of wings on their shoulders. By the 8th of December that same year, their wings had grown enough to support them in flight. On the 28th of March, one brave unknown Haymeen jumped off the side of a small mountain and glided down to the bottom unharmed. This became known as the First Flight, and has since evolved into a Haymeen holiday.

13,130,500 to 37,500 BCE: Age of friends

37,500 to 25,100 BCE: Age of religion

On the 16th of March, 37,500 years before the common era, a Haymeen named Girrur had a vision of a strange creature that called itself Y'ugnathith. It told Girrur about Canidges (houses), Vanturnes (cars), and Pilooters (boats).

However, when Girrur told the Haymeen council about Y'ugnathith, although everyone accepted Canidges, Vanturnes, and Pilooters as an amazing inventions, only a few believed that Y'ugnathith actually existed, and everyone of them had a different idea of what Y'ugnathith was.

In September of 37,396 BCE, the Canidge, Vanturne, and Pilooter were a success. Every family owned one or more of each. However, other nations had created their own vehicles and buildings.

On January 5th, 37,109 BCE, Liassi - the granddaughter of one of the council members that had believed Girrur - had a vision of Y'ugnathith. She was commanded by Y'ugnathith to make her nation, Liacabelis, into the most powerful nation on Alfstad. News quickly spread of this vision, and in other nations, stories of the same nature started to pop up.

In 37,024 BCE, the wars began. They were to last until 25,107 BCE, when a global peace treaty was signed.
